The tannery itself is not open to the public. There is a terrace from which you can watch the goings-on. The entrance is to the left of the carpentry museum, past a restaurant. Access is through a leather shop via a few stairs and floors. After 5 minutes of viewing, we were asked to vacate the (empty) terrace.
