Alpine lake of modest size rich in vegetation and arthropods, including dragonflies. Surrounding the lake is a picnic area equipped with tables, benches and benches; useful for resting, taking a break but also a family lunch since the area is located near the Vivione refuge which can be reached by car (check the period of closure of the access road) valdiscalve.it/eventi/apertura-strada-statale-passo-del-vivione

Since it's not possible to bring food from home to the refuge, the picnic area at Laghetto Vivione becomes the designated spot if you want to stop for a drink or to eat your own food. The wooden animal statues are lovely, perfect for taking souvenir photos.
