On June 28, 2024, the United Nations building in Vienna was given a new look by a huge mural by Australian artist Fintan Magee. The artwork, which is considered the largest mural in Vienna, supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the upcoming UN Future Summit. Magee's work addresses the human aspects of the United Nations and the fragility of peace. The project was created in collaboration with the Viennese cultural association Calle Libre and received support from Viennese UN organizations, the Austrian state, the City of Vienna, the private sector and the Global Compact Network Austria.
