The Sigmaringen-Laiz hydroelectric power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the Danube. In Laiz, a hydroelectric power plant with an electrical output of 247 kilowatts was built at the Danube weir there between 1998 and 1999.

Together with the Sigmaringen hydroelectric power plant, both plants produce an average of around 2.1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. This corresponds to approximately three percent of total electricity consumption. The municipal utility company invested around €2.1 million in both hydroelectric power plants at the time.
