The 91.7 m high tower of the parish church of St. Egid on Pfarrplatz, with its 50 m high viewing platform, offers a wonderful view of the old town of Klagenfurt and a magnificent panoramic view - Wörthersee, Karawanks, Koralpe.
It is worth climbing the tower with its 225 steps. The history of the parish tower and the tower keepers and their utensils is shown in the old tower keeper's apartment.
