There is a bronze statue of Lindgren outside the Junibacken Museum building.
The museum is one of the five most visited tourist attractions in Stockholm and is dedicated to Swedish children's literature, and especially to the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren. The museum is named after a place from one of her books.

The television series "Classics of World Literature" by and starring Tilman Spengler pays tribute to the lives and works of important writers and poets with short, 15-minute film clips (in German). The episode that accompanies this komoot highlight focuses on—if I may use this superlative—probably the most famous children's book author in the world, namely ASTRID LINDGREN (1907 to 2002), born in Vimmerby, Sweden.
