Tips
Remains of a castle Zähringer, within the only remaining ruins of the wall, a stone observation tower was built, which is usually open on Sundays with fine weather. If you absolutely want to go up and find it locked, you can also get the key in the nearby Waldgasthof of the same name. The castle itself can be reached via a steep trail directly from Wildtal or via a much less demanding path from the inn.

The Zähringer Castle is on a spur of the Roßkopf and a visit here is definitely worth it. To get to the tower, you have to go to the forest restaurant and pick up the key. (In an emergency, ask there, it may be that the castle is closed at the moment.)
