A short but evocative nature-educational loop, rich in points of interest: 3km long, well-maintained and signposted, suitable for everyone, with easy ups and downs through gentle pastures and dense forests of larch, beech, and fir trees. Beautiful in all seasons: in winter with snowshoes, in spring with the cherry blossoms, in summer with the verdant environments, and especially in autumn with the palette of foliage.

Ten information boards along the route illustrate as many points of historical, naturalistic, scenic, and cultural interest: (1) the gentle lines of the landscape, (2) the ancient beech tree, (3) the surprising larches, (4) the Contrà Vallà, (5) the Cherry Valley, (6) the fort, (7) the ancient quarries, (8) the spring, (9) inside the trench, (10) encounter with the forest. At the halfway point, the Sword in the Stone, Excalibur, King Arthur's legendary weapon, is particularly fascinating: it gives the trail its name and is the real reason families choose this hike with children!
