Despite its relatively low altitude (1,694 m), Spitz di Tonezza stands alone overlooking the valley, offering a wide and unexpected 360° panoramic view of the Tonezza Plateau, the Asiago Plateau, the Astico Valley (1,000 meters below, sheer and unprotected), the Folgaria Plateau, the entire Vicenza Prealps, and beyond!
The toponym 'Spitz' derives from the German word for point, sharp peak (in fact, there are many peaks of the same name in the Alps and Prealps).
