Essenthoer Mill

The Essenthoer mill is located in an idyllic side valley of the Diemel and is operated since the 15th century. Meanwhile, hydropower is used exclusively for power generation.
In addition, a training station for birds of prey and owls was set up next to the mill and an arboretum was created.

Today we delivered a weakened red kite to Mrs. and Mr. Limpinsel. They showed us their station and took a lot of time!Viewings and guided tours only possible by prior arrangement!
