The Capanna Grimaldi bivouac is probably the most iconic in the entire Vallombrosa forest. It is located along the road that from Croce Vecchia (a pass that connects Vallombrosa with Montemignaio) leads up to Monta Secchieta (1450m) and is located at an altitude of 1330m, immersed in a beautiful beech forest that makes this place unique and iconic.
