Nativity Scene in Derchinger Forest

The life-size crib of the Kolping Family Lechhausen am Moosberg in Derchinger Forest is open every day between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from December 6th to January 6th.It is illuminated between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
It can be reached via Kreisstraße 25 between Derching and Mühlhausen. Shortly after leaving Derching, turn right on a dirt road into the weekend area "Kohlstatt" to the parking lot. From there, continue on foot uphill to the left, following the stars to Moosberg.

It is always nice to visit this beautiful forest nativity scene. However, you should avoid it at the weekend, because there is no parking space.

Next to the cross stands the hut where lifelike figures (Holy Family) stand in the Advent season.
