The Beautiful Tower, also known as the Landshut Gate, is the last remaining gate tower in the old town of Erding in Upper Bavaria.
The tower was built in 1408 in the late Gothic style of the Landshut School of Architecture on the eastern city wall.
The tower was badly damaged during the Thirty Years' War. The hipped roof, which was destroyed by fire, was replaced by a dome between 1660 and 1664.
