Small Tümlauer Bay with a small harbor! The Koog was extracted from the sea by drainage in the 1930s and is considered a flat marshland and did not get its final name "Tümlauer-Koog" until 1945 after the war.
You can also cycle through the Tümlauer Koog on the popular connection between St. Peter-Ording and the Westerhever lighthouse. Descend from time to time, up onto the dike, never "step in" anywhere and enjoy the hinterland and the North Sea again and again on top of the dike!

Between the famous Westerhöver lighthouse and the wide sandy beach of St. Peter Ording lies the Tümlauer Koog. The spaciousness and rural seclusion and tranquility make the Koog Tümlauer an ideal cycling area. Both the manicured dikes and the scattered thatched-roof houses or the picturesque harbor on the Tümlauer Bay are worthwhile starting points.
