The view says it all :-)

The Wallberg is also often called the mountain of the Tegernsee. Although a cable car goes up to just below the summit, still many people opt for the sporty ascent. The summit is then full of attractions. From the Wallbergkapelle, over the imposing view over the Tegernsee, up to the many hang-gliding and paragliding, which the mountain lures to fly with good thermals.

The Wallberg is a very simple summit. In the upper area it can happen that you have to use your hands. Unfortunately, the Wallbergbahn ensures that mass tourism prevails here, especially on weekends.

The last climb is fun with children as you have to climb.

The last meters to the summit cross are not to be underestimated. In any case, only go with good shoes.

Because of the Wallbergbahn, the peaks in the Mangfall Mountains are already heavily frequented. But the view from there is gigantic. If you like it a little quieter, climb the Setzberg to the west, from which you have almost the same view.

Great tour. A bit exhausting. Condition and a little surefootedness necessary. Mountain boots necessary. Great visibility in good weather.

Very nice view but pretty crowded. Definitely go a few meters further, because it is a little quieter.

A classic of Munich's local mountains - unfortunately mostly quite frequented

In winter the last stretch to the summit is icy and slippery, but for the most part you can hold on to the rocks on the side. However, it doesn’t do any harm to bring Groedel & sticks.
For the view towards Tegernsee and the surrounding mountains it is definitely worth it ❤️

Incredibly beautiful, especially at sunrise. From 9 a.m. the ascent is already very crowded on the weekend ...

🐧 Due to corona measures, you should expect corresponding waiting times at all huts. So either wait an hour or just take everything with you 🐧
