Alp Murgsee 1836 m / Quartner Hütte SG
At the beginning of the alpine season, the well-grassed and early cow alpine pastures Tal-Sagenegg-Plätz and Merlen are cultivated in spring. These are easily accessible via the Murgtalstrasse and have water and electricity. This is followed by the management of the Wissenberg - Chammiswald and Murgsee alpine pastures (multi-level cow alpine pastures). The Alp Murgsee is used jointly with the local community of Quarten.
