The Maschseequellein Hannover is a listed water pump and filter facilities on the west bank in the south of the Maschsee. Since the artificial Maschsee was over time more and more "contaminated" by debris from the leash, the city built an additional pump house in the Ricklinger Masch. From there, water from 1962 from the Ricklinger Kiesteichen through an 800 -meter-long underground pipe the Maschsee supplied below the water level.
