Tips
The so-called fish ponds are worth a hike! The single-track railway is out of service, you can get an entrance ticket at the information point visitor center in Hortobagy. We were here in July and it was still completely deserted. You can stroll around quite leisurely, but make sure you have sun protection and drinks.
