Modern sculpture
The project by the Zirler artist Günther Tschaufeser has been created at the Zirler Kalvarienberg and commemorates five known and unknown victims of euthanasia in the Nazi era.

A touching and moving reminder to those killed.
The war memorial is at the second station of the Cross on Zirl Kalvarienberg mountain.
It was erected in memoriam of soldiers killed in World War I and consecrated on September 12, 1920.
This memorial commemorates the residents of Zirl who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I) and World War II.
