Hiking
The San Elijo Lagoon is one of the largest coastal wetlands in County San Diego. There is a visitor center and some well laid out trails through the lagoon. The main path is unfortunately still under construction at the moment. The small nature trail is beautifully laid out. Many benches make it possible to take a break and watch the animals.
