Steve went for a hike.

If you’re into coastal hikes, this one’s a must. I like to start from the upper parking lot by the visitor center. It’s not a hard hike overall, but the trails are uneven, rutted in spots, and some of the stairs have tall steps that can be awkward. If you’re not steady on your feet, a hiking pole can make a big difference. This is a whole network of trails, and the views are ridiculous in the best way. Take your time and soak it in. Trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. Bathrooms, sinks, and trash cans are available near the parking area, but not on the trails so handle your business before you head out. Bring plenty of water. It might feel coastal and breezy, but some sections of the trails get pretty hot, especially if it's not breezy.
