About 25 years ago, the city of Regensburg began to create and maintain sections of the beach. Since then, you can lie on the gravel or on the lawn in the shade of the trees or in the sun.
Drivers have to walk at least 500 m. That's why almost everyone comes by bike 🚲 😎.
There is no cafe or bar here, so bring your own picnic 🍉🍔🍺. Sometimes an ice cream van comes by 🍦.
