This bridge, which has massive concrete bollards on both approaches, is only for cyclists and pedestrians. The popular cycle path north of the Werre crosses the Mennighüffener Mühlenbach here. A water mill once stood here, the "Schockemühle" (hence the street name "Alt-Schockemühle"). The last remnants of this mill were demolished in the early 1970s, in preparation for the construction of the A30 motorway.
