The Issel is a good two and a half kilometers long stream in the eastern Hintertaunus in the district of Butzbach in the Hessian Wetteraukreis.
The Issel then feeds successively a chain of trout ponds, which originally supplied the Lochmühle a bit down the Issel estuary in the Fauerbachtal with groundwater. (Wiki)
