Known locally as "Hawsker Mad Bull", this holiday cottage still retains the imposing twin Rayleigh Trumpets which continued in use until 1987. The equipment is named after a Nobel prize-winning physicist, 3rd Baron Rayleigh, who amongst other things, provided the scientific explanation of why the sky is blue.
