Where sheep once found shelter, there is now culture for everyone. In 1991, the sheep barn of yesteryear became the "Museum im Schafstall". Extensive restoration work was required to transform the stately building from the mid-18th century. Today, the museum houses exhibits on the ducal family of Württemberg-Neuenstadt, a memorial to the Mörike family, as well as historical maps and views of Neuenstadt. (Source: Neuenstadt.de)

Hiking

The remaining buildings of the sheep farm date from the 18th century. They replaced the ducal sheep farm from the 16th century, which was located below in the flood-prone Brettach valley. In 1990, the sheep barn was converted into a museum.
