Mountain biking

The local mountain of the Gompertshausen is the Weinberg. The vineyard festival takes place there every year at Pentecost. The vineyard hut always does its job at exactly that time. The view in all directions is impressive, especially towards the Thuringian Forest. The mountain actually got its name from the fact that wine was once grown here.
