Interesting alternative to go up (or down) from Lake Brasimone to the San Giuseppe Pass, located on the dirt road that leads from Alpe di Cavarzano to Gasperone and, from here, to Montepiano. The segment departs from the right bank of the lake to first climb parallel to the Enel service road located behind a disturbing fence, and then follows along a mule track with stretches of single trek. It then joins the asphalt road serving the semi-abandoned plant. Once you reach the top closing gate, don't worry, you go through a small path on the left.
