Parking is free here. Tip: Drive to the end of the street, where there are usually still parking spaces. Most people park at the edge of the street, and you'd think it was full.
Another nice touch: You can order down at the beach, and your order will be delivered in a basket by a cable-stayed trolley.

Xigia Sulfur Beach (also spelled Xygia) is located on the northeast coast of the island.
The beach is famous as a natural sulfur bath. Due to sulfur springs that flow directly into the bay from neighboring sea caves, the water gets a characteristic milky-turquoise color. A distinct smell of sulfur (similar to rotten eggs) is in the air.
The sulfur- and mineral-rich water is attributed therapeutic properties that can help with skin problems, muscle and joint pain, and arthritis.
