Navagio Beach (also known as Shipwreck Bay) is one of the most famous and photographed beaches in Greece.
Current status 2026: Due to the risk of landslides and rockfalls, the actual beach area is currently closed to visitors. Walking on the sand and swimming directly at the shipwreck is prohibited.
Boat tours are still available. Boats are permitted to enter the bay but must maintain a safe distance from the shore, meaning you can only admire the wreck from a distance.
