The bench invites you to rest while enjoying the panorama. The spot is known today not only for the view into Bohemian Switzerland but also for the radio beacon (DVOR/DME) located there, a striking air navigation facility that has stood on the plateau since 1986. The source material for the Hinterhermsdorfer Emmabank on the Zahnsberg is sparse, but it is assumed that it was either named in homage to the better-known Ostrauer Bank or that it also had a local patron or the wife of a committed citizen as its namesake.
