The lake is the widest natural lake of Friuli Venezia Giulia and wash with its waters the territory of three municipalities, Cavazzo Carnico, Bordano and Trasaghis. Moreover, it offers to the tourists the possibility to dedicate themselves to a wide range of open-air activities.
Antique legends tell that the lake has born from the drops of the sky, fall down as rain.

Activities:
In the lake, it is possible to fishing and play other water sports such as canoeing, windsurf, sailing or simply, have a bath in its clear waters.

The area is rich of naturalistic and bicycles paths. For those who wants to relax dipped in nature, Cavazzo offers rest stops where you can stop for a picnic under the shadow of the trees.
