Path through part of the De Spicht nature reserve, named after Polle Pap. That's P.P.'s stage name. or Paul Michiels, probably best known as half of the once quite popular group Soulsister (with Jan Leyers). Michiels is godfather of the Spicht. He is from Heist-op-den-Berg and he got his nickname Polle Pap when he was a milk vendor there.

Perhaps more important: the path itself. It runs past a beaver dam (and into the large pond behind the stream that you are not allowed to enter) beaver castle next to the Winge. On the other side is a wetland with reeds. At this time of year the path is surrounded by tall plants and can also be quite muddy in places. Watch out for ticks and for the wooden planks that lie here and there when it is very wet. The path runs from Spicht (the road) to Molendries.

The GR 512 Brabantse Heuvelroute runs over this path.
