Café at Käsmu Maritime Museum

Adults 6€, Children 3€Really quirky museum. The name ist a little misleading as half of it is basically the kitchen / living room / bedroom of the (old) owner's grandmother. The wife of the owner will give you a guided tour in English as the owner speaks only Estonian. You will get to know so much about the history of Käsmu and the whole region. She will explain you the positive influence of the Baltic Germans - especially the German Noble family von Dellingshausen which helped turn Käsmu into an extremely prosperous place, maybe even more prosperous than Tallinn! She will also talk about the negative & sometimes absurd influence the Soviet occupation on Käsmu.
