Summit Cross on Rößberg

What a glimpse into the Thuringian Rhön - the rise of chains or a detour from the Green Belt to this summit are really worthwhile.

The summit cross is an important landmark and from there there is an absolutely magnificent view of the valleys of the Ulster and its tributaries. The nearby Rockenstuhl with its distinctive transmission mast is clearly visible.
