The history of the Gasthof zum Rassen goes back to the 16th century. The owners at that time were the Andechs Benedictines, who were known as worshippers of Saint Rasso. The current name of the inn is derived from this saint, whose figure also adorns the facade. The current three-storey gabled building with late-classical facade structure and iron balcony was built after the great fire in 1865. A large baroque house Madonna also adorns the building. The facade was painted in 1987/88.
