Hiking
The second oldest house in the city, built under Osnabrück influence, is the Hellmann House at Burgstrasse 13. This stately half-timbered house from 1641 with its four-protruding gable and central post was one of the first to be built immediately after the fortress was demolished. The German and Latin gable inscriptions, the wheel-shaped carved ornaments and the decorative brick patterns are interesting.
