Hiking
Lots of beautiful views of boats, Hamburg City, nice villas... With lots of opportunities to sit on benches in a very well-kept environment.

Hiking
The Outer Alster bank is a beautiful shore with benches and a gravel path. You can look across to the other side.

Hamburg is known as a green metropolis on the Elbe, but it has even more to offer: the Alster - the heart of Hamburg. It rises north of the Hamburg state border and expands in the city center to form a large body of water surrounded by green spaces. The "green landscapes on the water" with their oases of peace give the city and landscape its special character and often offer unexpected perspectives on the city.
