The Hotel Goldner Stern offers beautiful rooms for an overnight stay. The breakfast is very good.

Right at the beginning of the Salzmarkt stands the "Goldner Stern" hotel. Before the Thirty Years' War, it was called the "Schwarzer Bär" (Black Bear) and was already a popular inn for noblemen and noblemen at that time. This building complex also fell victim to the great fire of 1632. A lieutenant named Vorndran built a new inn on the devastated site, which was now called the "Goldner Stern." Vorndran had stored a large amount of wine that had escaped the fire and looting. This enabled him to finance the reconstruction in its current form very soon after the war.
