During our hike, traces of the high water levels of 2021 in the Holzbachtal were clearly visible. Maybe that's where the "garbage" problem described in other comments comes from. Because in many areas in North Rhine-Westphalia, the floods took "civilization matter" with them in an uncontrolled manner and washed it through the creek valleys, where they stayed for a long time. That has to be dealt with in large quantities first. With that in mind, many thanks to everyone who cleaned up here. Because we couldn't find any more "littering" during our hike here. In principle, however, every hiker should take to heart that they take everything they bring into the forest with them.
