Tips
Once there was a bay here, which was separated from the Trave, creating a pond. In 1932 the Trave was dredged and the silt was deposited here, causing the pond to disappear.

With its reed belt and the pair of swans, the silken pond can derive from a legend about Avalon. He does not have to, yet he looks adorable here and absolutely fits in with this lovely landscape.
