Supai Village is located on the Havasupai Indian Reservation. Originally known as Havasu Baaja, meaning “people of the blue-green waters,” the name reflects the stunning colors of the local waterfalls. For those interested in backpacking, starting at the Havasupai Trailhead provides a 25-mile round trip with campsites along the way.

It's important to note that a permit is required to hike this area since it is on the reservation, but the extra effort is well worth it.
