The East Bavarian Mining and Industry Museum in Theuern (municipality of Kümmersbruck) is a nationally important museum that researches and documents mining and industry in the entire East Bavarian region. It is part of the North Bavarian Industrial Route.The headquarters of the Mining and Industry Museum is the Hammerherrenschloss, built in 1781.
