From here it is only a really short walk to the Lauterbach harbor, with its lighthouse, yacht dock, stalls, pubs and the departure piers for the ship-bathing traffic and the excursions on and around Vilm.

Otherwise, the trip with the Rasende Roland is not complete. It is also cool to take the train from Göhren to Lauterbach and then back again with the Bäderschiff. It is also possible to take your bike to Lauterbach without any problems. From there, the southern part of the island, as well as Garz, Puttbus and Bergen, can be easily reached by e-bike. We cycled away from the tourist crowds to Stralsund.
