Parish Church of St. Andrea
Located in the ancient village of Iseo, the Parish Church of St. Andrea is one of the oldest churches in the Diocese of Brescia. Its foundation dates back to the 5th-6th centuries, as evidenced by the remains of the early Christian apse beneath the presbytery.
The current building is the result of numerous modifications over the centuries: the Romanesque apse (12th century), the bell tower (13th century), the nave and side chapels (15th-16th centuries), and finally the Baroque façade (18th century).
The interior contains valuable works of art, including 15th-century frescoes attributed to Giovanni da Marone and the wooden polyptych by Moretto.
