Ride (or walk) in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims. In winter some tread on your tyres would be best, in summer or when the ground is hard it should be passable on any kind of bike.

Done this route April '22 on a touring bike (no suspension, slim tyres) and it took quite the brunt -it's more suited for a full fledged mountain bike really. But beautiful nonetheless.
