The Khoja Gaukushon ensemble includes a madrasah, the Kalon Cathedral Mosque with the high minaret of Khoja Kalon, and a hauz (pond). The madrasah was built between 1562 and 1566, and the construction of the complex was completed in 1598 with the opening of the Friday Mosque. The complex is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
