The Murder Hollow is a little off the beaten path. I think a detour to the cave is worthwhile. Found it very interesting and would have loved to look deeper.

The Mordkuhle in the Teutoburg Forest owes its name to a legend. According to her, a band of robbers used to live there. A murder could never be historically proven. The Mordkuhle has been a protected natural monument since 1925. In winter, bats seek shelter in the crevice in one of the limestone walls surrounding the depression.

I can't get enough of gorges, cliffs and steep rock faces. I have to go back here because I haven't found the cave entrance.
