The cross-border, 125 km long Isar-Loisach-Leutascher Ache-Inn Way of St. James closes the missing link between the Munich, Southeast Bavarian and Tyrolean Way of St. James. It runs from Schäftlarn Monastery along the Isar and Loisach, via Gelting, Beuerberg, Penzberg and Bichl, past Benediktbeuern Monastery, Kochel and Walchensee through the Karwendel Alpine World with Wallgau, Krün and Mittenwald into the Leutasch-Seefeld Olympic Region, following the Leutascher Ache, down to Mötz in the Tyrolean Inn Valley. Important aspects are religious, cultural and art-historical, embedded in a varied landscape.Source and further information
