The original Romanesque church from the 12th century was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 17th century. It is currently in very poor condition and has almost no furnishings. Around the church there was a German cemetery, which was abandoned after the resettlement of the German population and during the totalitarian regime. A few years ago the cemetery was revitalized and the tombstones that were found were placed around the church. In front of the church there is also a reconciliation cross, which was brought from a place that is now flooded by a dam.
